Golden Milk – to fight inflammation, illness, depression and more

Golden milk is a favorite yogic beverage. It’s made with turmeric, which has numerous health benefits, particularly as an anti-inflammatory.
Its’s great for your joints, your liver and immune system, and even helps with depression.

Recipe:

1/8 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of black pepper
1/4 filtered water

Simmer 5 min then add:
1 cup of almond or hemp milk
2 tbsp almond or coconut oil
Bring to just under boiling (do not boil!)
Serve warm and if, desired add honey for sweetness.

Black pepper increases the bioavailability of turmeric, so our body can absorb all of it’s wonderful properties so don’t leave this out! This drink is very calming and is especially good at bedtime. đź’¤
